For our location in Tübingen, Germany, we are looking for our Development department for a
Technical Purchaser (m/f/d) in Development
Your Responsibilities
- Working in interdisciplinary, agile project teams from the product idea to series production
- Acting as the communication interface between Purchasing and the project team
- Evaluating the technological capabilities of suppliers
- Defining technical delivery conditions and ensuring compliance with them
- Responsible for all operational procurement activities within a project, such as procuring samples and prototypes
- Coordinating the collection of supplier documentation
- Comparing bids and selecting suppliers in collaboration with Strategic Purchasing
- Clarifying and implementing logistical requirements for series readiness
- Planning and ensuring the series readiness of suppliers
Your Skills
- Degree in business engineering, technical degree with additional business knowledge or a comparable degree
- Ideally several years of professional experience in purchasing electronic and mechanical components
- Solid understanding of technology
- Strong focus on results as well as communication and coordination skills
- Confident demeanour and a dedicated work ethic paired with excellent negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel
- Proficiency in using MS Office and ERP systems
- Good command of spoken and written German and English
