For the IT Department of our Tübingen location, we are looking for a

Cyber Security Specialist (m/f/d)


Your Responsibilities


  • You will work on exciting projects in the DevOps team and make an essential contribution to ensuring high security standards for our digital products
  • You will be responsible for all relevant IT security topics, analysing risks and implementing tailored security solutions using suitable frameworks
  • You will be committed to working closely with technical and design teams to define cyber security requirements and specifications for products
  • You will make certain that relevant legal requirements (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA) and industry standards (e.g. ISO, NIST) for cloud security are met
  • You will ensure that security controls, strategies and procedures are always up to date and documented
  • You will conduct regular audits and assessments, including security testing, penetration testing and vulnerability assessments

Your Skills


  • You have a degree in computer science, IT security or network technology or, alternatively, a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience in the field of cyber security
  • Ideally, you have experience in the security-related implementation of apps
  • You are familiar with Azure cloud resources, and the interaction of modern apps from data sources to the backend is the foundation of your work
  • You think analytically and have strong problem-solving skills to identify, assess and take appropriate action on security risks in the area of digital products
