For the Development Department of our location in Tübingen, we are looking for a

Technical Writer (m/f/d)

Create and modify instruction, service and installation manuals using a content management system
Conduct content research and commission and edit technical illustrations
Prepare files for publishing (printed and electronic media)
Approve instructional content in consultation with Research, Development, Marketing, Service and Quality Management
Coordinate translation management
Create, maintain and develop terminology, processes and work instructions and further developing these
Manage tasks using Jira by Atlassian

Degree in technical writing or a degree in the humanities or natural sciences with further training as a technical writer or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in technical documentation for sophisticated products, ideally in the field of optics
Knowledge of using content management systems (e.g. Schema ST4)
Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Microsoft Word and Excel
Organisational skills and an independent, structured and accurate way of working
Confident demeanour and strong communication skills
Good command of spoken and written English
