For our location in Tübingen we are looking for a temporary position in the development department for a
Packaging Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Design and develop environmentally friendly and standard-compliant packaging concepts for new products
- Implement packaging systems ready for series production, including the creation of prototypes
- Introduce new packaging technologies
- Engineer packaging using CAD software, taking into account economic and ergonomic requirements
- Create design and print templates and coordinate die-cut drawings for packaging
- Conduct tests to qualify our packaging in accordance with requirements
- Plan and conduct packaging validation for sterile and non-sterile products
- Transfer the developed packaging concepts to series production
Your Skills
- Technical degree in mechanical engineering, packaging technology, medical technology or a comparable degree
- Ideally, expertise in the field of packaging, preferably including the sterile products segment
- Some professional experience in packaging or medical technology is desirable
- Experience with SolidWorks or a comparable CAD system is advantageous
- High sense of responsibility and quality awareness combined with strong communication skills
- Independent, structured and reliable way of working
- Good command of spoken and written English
