For the Production Department of our Tübingen location, we are looking for an
Engineer for Production and Test Equipment Development (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Developing and optimising production equipment, test equipment and test processes, including software, for testing medical devices and components
- Programming the testing process and the actuator systems, selecting appropriate sensors and measuring instruments, developing electrical components
- Developing functional requirements specifications in consultation with the specialist departments
- Performing functional tests and putting production and test equipment into operation
- Preparing and maintaining the pertinent system documentation (technical documentation, validation and verification documents)
Your Skills
- University degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, medical engineering or a comparable degree
- Initial experience in test equipment development and application with TestStand
- Profound experience in programming with LabView
- Ideally, experience in electrical engineering using EPLAN
- Analytical mindset, structured way of working as well as solution- and process-oriented approach
- Team spirit, high level of self-initiative and sense of responsibility
- Very good English skills
